Sean Andrews has been with The Kildonan School and Camp Dunnabeck since 2014 as an OG Practitioner and Assistive Technology Instructor and has been facilitating as Camp Director and Program Coordinator since 2019, and now as Executive Director, 2025.

Presently, Sean works at Mounds Park Academy in St. Paul, MN, as the Curriculum and Technology Integration Specialist and Computer Science teacher.  His passion for educational technologies and their ability to revolutionize education motivates him to support students and teachers with tools to expand their potential and prepare them to be digital citizens in an ever-changing world.

Sean is also an avid snowboarder and snowboarding instructor, holding a Level II national certification from the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI).

Laurie J. Cousseau

Laurie Cousseau is an accredited Training Fellow of the Orton-Gillingham Academy (OGA) at the Certified level, and the Founder and Director of Green River Literacy and Learning Center. She served as a Training Practitioner and Director of the Kildonan Teacher Training Institute (KTTI) from 2001 to 2017, and returned as Director in 2025. Laurie also partners with The Southport CoLAB to provide educator training and consultation.

With more than 30 years of experience, Laurie has taught and trained educators in independent and public schools, higher education, and specialized programs for students with dyslexia. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Reading Education, is a Certified Academic Language Therapist, and is an IDA Certified Dyslexia Therapist. Her work includes extensive 1:1 and small-group Orton-Gillingham instruction, leadership roles in OGA-accredited programs, and service on several professional boards. She has presented widely and has served as adjunct faculty at Bay Path University. Additionally, she recently published a trio of Books with Scholastic to support OG instruction titled “The Ultimate Book of Phonics Word Lists.”

When she is not teaching, Laurie enjoys running, hiking, and traveling. In 2018 and 2019, she had the opportunity to train in Australia and Malaysia. Her heart space is a small island in Maine where she spends a part of her summers kayaking, writing, and exploring. She lives with her family in the Berkshires.

Yvonne Schutz

Yvonne assists the administration at Kildonan and Camp Dunnabeck and serves as the Admissions Officer for Camp Dunnabeck.  She has been with the Kildonan since 1995 and Camp Dunnabeck since 2014. She also serves as the Registrar for The Kildonan School. Yvonne enjoys hiking, biking, and camping with her husband, Steven, and their dog, Ronald.

Gail has been working with the Kildonan business office since 2011. She has been the Girls’ Dorm Head and Equestrian program instructor for Camp Dunnabeck.  Gail and her husband, David, live in Torrington along with their cat, Inky. Gail’s favorite pastime is riding her horse, RJ, which she tries to do every chance she gets.
